<  gallery current work and ambitions for the future: ‘A friend introduced me to the work of writer Raymond Roussell who has interested and frustrated me in turn, he uses a fascinating process to create work that produces writing which I find difficult to read. I want to make work where the process is important and challenging to the viewer but is unnoticed in the watching. My conclusion was to devise a computer programme similar to an arcade game where the player appears to and believes that they have a direct influence on how it works.’ on the creative use of new technology: ‘A collection of 31 video clips are linked by a story involving 7 characters while words, images, colour and sound make other links. These form the database for a programme, that randomly picks clips depending on the instructions of the viewer. Before watching the videos the player chooses from a list of titles and selects the period of time they want to watch for. Every person will get a different version of the story, some will see all of the clips, others only a few. It is a very early beginning for me but my plan is not to make a book, a film or a game but something that links them all and brings together the many different disciplines I have worked in the past.’		images statements biography ‘My recent work is concerned with making art that is personal from beginnings that are distant and removed. I have collected audio recordings of poetry workshops and after listening to them transcribed 98 captions which have formed the base for all my subsequent projects. These include a public sculpture of 24 marker posts with words written up them, a collection of 98 drawings which in turn have been sent to a poet who has re-captioned them, video clips linking the pairs of related captions and a long poem which has been used as the basis for my project at LUTCHI.’ personal account to follow
