Currently studying full time at Creativity and Cognition Studios Sarah is undertaking a PhD researching presence-generating art systems. Partly funded by the Australasian Center for Interaction Design (ACID) Sarah has  secured an industry partnership in collaboration with Smartlab  (http://www.smartlab.uk.com/) with Tobii Technology (www.tobii.com) and has developed a system that utilises eye-gaze technology for alternative interface interactivity.
Using a practice-based methodology Sarahs work examines interactive experience as the devised system undergoes extensive evaluation at Beta Space, Cyberworlds, Powerhouse Museum, Sydney in November 2009.
Sarahs' practice-based research has produced a system called PEGASYS: a presence-generating art system. The system produces an interactive panoramic cinematic experience  for participants drawing from research into presence, digital immersive environments, augmented reality and aspects of cybertherapy.  The prototype produced integrates multimedia technologies, human-computer interaction and networked systems in order to create a recreational entertainment device. Evaluation of study participants experiences of the system produced results that illustrate the research aims in terms of contribution to new knowledge in relation to presence engagement and human-computer interaction.
Sarah's background in theatre and video production places her new work on firm foundation.For five years Sarah operated a multi-media studio that offered film production, graphic design, DVD authoring, web design and theatrical promotional packages. Sarah has spent a considerable amount of time working as a production manager / technical director / stage manager in the theatre and in more recent years she produced new video works for use as interactive components for the stage. Sarah has a Diploma of Graphic Arts (CIT), a BCA in Theatre Production and Film Studies (UOW) and a Graduate Certificate in Interactive Multimedia (UTS). See sarahmoss.com.au for more
