Generative Arts Practice 2005: Call for Papers

Full papers reporting practice, addressing issues or describing research results relevant to the Symposium are invited. Submissions will be reviewed by the International Programme Committee. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. At least one author of each published paper must register for the conference.

Paper length: Your paper should not exceed 6000 words (or 16 pages in the conference format) including references.

Generative Art Practice invites submissions of artworks and performances.

Submissions should be in the form of a paper, describing and illustrating the work, in the standard conference format. The length of the paper should be between two and four pages and it should be suitable for printing in the proceedings.

At least one author of successful submissions will be expected to register for the meeting and present the work in a show and tell session. A data projector and sound system will be available for these sessions. Other facilities may be available, or can be provided by the artist, by agreement. Each presentation will be for 20 mins.

Deadline for artwork/performance submissions:

20th September 2005.

Scholarships

A small number of scholarships to cover the conference fee will be available to independent artists who are authors of accepted papers.
