This is just a short note to bring my blog back to life.
after six and a half years as an invited researcher at ATR in japan, the time has come to move on (with a gentle push from ATR who are on a much smaller budget now than in previous years).
I have recently joined the Mixed Reality Lab under Ass.Prof. Adrian David Cheok in Singapore, and will continue to work on mixed and augmented reality projects.
I have put my PhD on ice for the time being since it was not possible to put in the neccessary time to keep it on track whilst changing jobs and moving to a new country.
I will talk a bit more about our lab and the Singapore experience once I have decompressed my life somewhat, and got through the inevitable rash of deadlines upon me at the moment.
stay tuned.

So far it looks okay, depending on how this post comes out…

*update*
Seems fine, confiuration took no time.
API is ‘moveable type’
API endpoint in my case is:
http://creative.it.uts.edu.au/~timbomb/wp/rodney/xmlrpc.php
no proxy, that’s about it!
It doesn’t seem much different from the wordpress web interface, but I like to be able to work offline on train trips etc.
